I have it in command to acquaint You, for the information of Earl Grey, that the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury having received from him an Application from Mr. Baillie for Advance for the Service of his Agency for the Government of Hong Kong, have caused the Sum of £300 to be issued out of the Parliamentary vote for Expenses of the Establishment of that Colony; and I am to request that You will suggest to Lord Grey that the Governor of Hong Kong should be apprised of the said Vote.
